WaterWise Recount


It was a clear, sunny day on Monday 10th February

as room 6d were on their way to Howick Beach in

preparation for WaterWise. When we got there my nose
filled with the smell of the salty sea breeze. It was so strong
I could almost taste it. This was a brilliant day for WaterWise.


When Ethan and I got out of the car we raced to the grass
faster than the speed of light. Just when Ethan and I collapsed to
the ground-as exhausted as a bear in winter-a few of the teachers
called us to put our life jackets on. As soon as I put mine on I felt
as if I was being strangled by a Boa Constrictor and would've passed
out if Ethan hadn't come to my rescue. Just then when I had finally
put my life jacket on, Mr Nicholls called us over to the grass for a
speech on safety. At this point I felt like going home and collapsing in
my nice warm bed, even though I couldn't, so I dragged my weary body
to the grass. Finally when he finished talking I was surprised to find out
that I knew so little about boats. This is a FEW things I learnt, the thing that help
